Delegate Selection Process

National Delegates represent their council’s interests during the National Council Session. Understanding the delegate process and formula will help your council to select delegates who you feel will best fulfill this important role. Most councils’ board development committees (BDCs) will solicit and vet candidates to be their National Council delegates, and elections are held at their annual meetings. The following documents will help you and your BDCs with this process. Please be prepared to submit the names and contact information of your delegates as indicated on the notification form to the Office of the National Board within two (2) weeks of their election.
